We encourage children to tap into their innate creativity, exploring and embracing the joy of movement rather than learning steps. At Wee Movers gender norms are not reinforced, and we make sure everyone feels included.

An open space for children of all ages and their grown-ups to explore and connect through dance, and mostly to have fun! Playful and energetic children’s classes in east London and beyond, combining contemporary and creative dance. Offering a fun introduction to movement where children are encouraged to explore and express themselves in a warm and supportive environment.

Sessions include warm-ups to music, gentle stretching, storytelling and adventures, imagery, games, dance techniques and lots of opportunities for children to create their own movement.

The class is for caregivers to come along and dance with their babies (slings not essential). No baby music, just fun, uplifting tunes and a chance to dance, while the babies enjoy the movement. There will also be extra time to have a chat and mingle.

Our favourite thing is the daily email update with SO much info about what the kids have been doing. Meals being included in the cost makes it such good value for money. Everything is so well thought through - it’s so apparent that the staff have such insight into what makes little minds and bodies tick. Wee Movers holiday clubs are very special.

BABY DANCE
Wee Movers Classes are full of fun and energy. We love having these classes at the weekend, they feel fresh every week. My toddler loves practicing at home the yoga and dance moves she picks up in class. The environment is so kind and inclusive.

My very energetic 3 yo boy spends some classes just running around, other weeks he does lots of dancing and the rest of the time it’s a bit of both. Wee Movers classes are a delight. The level of activity is perfectly paced for tired parents and excited children, and everyone comes out in a better mood after the chance to throw themselves around to some fun songs on a Saturday morning. I have a child in both the 2-3 and the 4-7 age group classes, and the mixture of dance, yoga and imagination always goes down a storm.

My two-year-old and four-year-old boys get so excited about Wee Movers every week. For me and my husband the toddlers class is a great opportunity to spend some one-on-one quality time with our little one. We always fight over who will get to take him! And our four-year-old looooves the independence of getting to go to a class by himself with his friends. Fiona is such a warm, encouraging and imaginative teacher, she brings out the creative side in all the kids. The boys are always doing downward dog and sun salutations at home now and it has unleashed the interpretative dancer in both of them!
